The PSL season is well underway and we have already had a few interesting moments.  For one, Dan Malesela was sacked for the second time by Chippa United on Tuesday evening and immediately replaced by Eric Tinkler. He will take charge of the Chilli Boys’ trip to face SuperSport United in less than a week’s time. How long do you think he be in charge for?

In news closer to home, we have started designing dashboards. Specifically, two! The first one will allow users to compare players against each other across several different metrics. We believe this is the first time (publicly available) where fans can take debates (of which players are better than others) to a whole new level. For example, how good is Ryan Moon really? How does he compare to other players in the PSL? Stay tuned for when access to this dashboard drops.

Wait! Don’t leave just yet…we have another dashboard in the works. The Team Comparison dashboard. It will allow users (directors, coaches, scouts, analysts, pundits, and fans) to compare the team’s across different metrics. For example, who is taking more shots, from which locations. Which team enjoys more possession of the ball and so forth. It will allow users to ask fire-burning questions such as “how good is my team”, “what do we do best” or “why are we not performing as well as we should”? In addition, “how do we compare to the competition” and “how do we compare to the PSL average”?
